 Garnet is a silicate mineral of the isometric crystal system. It has a MOHS hardness of 6.5-7.5 and streaks white. It has a rhombic dodecahedron shape. There are a variety of Garnet such as Almandine, Andradite, Grossular, Pyrope, and Spessartine with a wide range of colors.
