 Agate is a mineral of the Quartz group. It is a fibrous banded chalcedony that is typically translucent. Agate comes in a variety of colors and has a Mohs hardness of 6.5 to 7. There are many types of Agates and their names are often based on their location, patterns, or colors.
Crazy Lace Agate, also called Mexican Agate, is a type of Agate that has twisting and turning banding, zig zags and "eyes". These beauties are from Chihuahua in northern Mexico. They are often cream or white with bright color swirling patterns.
Metaphysically speaking, it is said that Agates tend to have a slow-pace type of energy and generally promote grounding, stability, harmony and mental clarity. Other metaphysical properties of Crazy Lace Agate may include:
