Hiddenite, Kunzite and Spodumene are of the same family and are from the monoclynic crystal system. Hiddenite is the transparent green variety of Spodumene, whereas Kunzite is the pink/violet transparent variety. The name Spodumene or Triphane is typically used to describe the yellow, or colorless variety. These beauties have a MOHs hardness of 6.5-7 and streak white. They often have long flat, crystals.
